• Ledger and PayPal have announced a new integration that allows U.S. residents with verified PayPal accounts to buy Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC) directly through Ledger Live.
• This new integration provides users with an additional option for purchasing crypto, as Ledger Live previously allowed users to buy crypto through partners MoonPay, Transak, Ramp, Simplex, Loopipay and Mercuryo.
• According to Pascal Gauthier, chairman and CEO of Ledger, combining their software with PayPal’s payments technology will help facilitate secure user crypto transactions.
Ledger Announces US PayPal Integration
Hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has integrated its Ledger Live software with PayPal’s payment platform in order to allow verified US-based customers to purchase cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC). Through this integration, customers can now access the full list of options available on the app which includes partners such as MoonPay, Transak, Ramp, Simplex, Loopipay and Mercuryo.

On August 7th 2020 PayPal announced that it would be launching its own stablecoin called PYUSD however at present this currency isn’t listed on Ledgers Live App alongside BTC ETH BCH or LTC though it may be added in a future update!
